Friday 17th - Sunday 19th I will be attending two big events!
The first is Blogtacular, which is described on their website as ’the place for bloggers whose hearts beat with creativity to come together to meet, share and inspire.’
This is my first time going to a ‘Blogging’ event. As the business grows I want to be able to share every moment with you readers so you can see how Chunky Row develops. For this I feel like I need to brush up on my blogging skills to make sure I’m portraying Chunky Row in the best way possible. I’m hoping to meet creative individuals, learn a new trick or two and just bask in the presence of wonderful British (and other nationalities seeing as many are flying into London for this event!) innovative bloggers out there.
‘Blogtacular is more than a conference; it’s a family reunion for the creative blog community. You can expect to find a warm welcome among kindred spirits.’
I have also been lucky enough to get a spot on Blogtacular’s Photo Walk on the Friday. In the evening I will be popping along to a craft party at West Elm also run by Blogtacular. What better way to connect with people before the event itself on the Saturday.
Then onto the Saturday! This will be the Blogging event itself. The day will be filled with workshops and networking. Very exciting indeed!
Zoom forwards to Saturday evening and I’ll be packing my bags and heading from London to Wales to make sure I’m up nice and early for the Royal Three Counties Show, another event I have never been to so I am thrilled I am able to attend this year.
For the three days the show is on, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, some of Chunky Row’s garments will be showcased at a British Wool Fashion Show. Because of the Blogging event I will only be able to make the Sunday, but if you pop to the Griffiths' Mill trailer there will be leaflets and information on Chunky Row. If you are coming along to the Sunday event and want to meet I will be there!
Griffiths’ Mill (www.griffithsfarming.com) and the Rare Breeds Survival Trust (www.rbst.org.uk) are organising the British Wool Fashion Show. This will be a fashion show with a difference as not only will the models be on the catwalk but also sheep of the breeds from which the garments are manufactured.

Is anyone else attending these events? If so, send me a message and we can meet up, talk wool or simply enjoy the great British weather! (Whatever it has in store for us that day!) Of course my next few blogs will be covering the events above in more detail with lots of lovely photographs.
